Bingo title win buddy marvellous

Valerie Harkin of Cambuslang, South Lanarkshire is delighted at being named a regional winner in the Mecca Bingo Buddy of the Year competition.

A player at Mecca at the Forge in Glasgow’s East End, she will contest the March 22 national finals at Wednesbury in the Midlands, as one of only eight finalists from nearly 1800 entries, and stands to win a Mediterranean cruise.

The competition is aimed at celebrating the thousands of friendships that have been built among bingo players over the years.
